Yes, all our professional courses are accredited and you will receive a certificate on successful completion of the course, please peruse the details on each course which will show the awarding body, for example ITEC or FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists). You will be able to gain insurance as a practitioner for our courses, please contact us for further information.

Our workshops are for interest and anyone can attend these. Workshops can be used by therapists for CPD points and we are happy to provide a certificate of attendance for portfolios if required.

No, at PTTA our belief is to make learning as simple as possible so we provide everything you need, all equipment including couches, manuals and learning materials. We even supply you with a pen to make notes!
All our courses are 10am to 5.30pm unless otherwise stated. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time for registration so that the courses can start promptly. We usually have a couple of comfort breaks and a 30 minute break for lunch.
We think the best way to learn is by practical application and by having a treatment done you can experience the treatment and put yourself in the position of the clients. However there are times when it might be appropriate to work on the public during lessons, especially on longer classes so that you experience a larger range of clients. If you have any contra-indications please email us before the course, we will be discreet and this information will be kept confidential.
PTTA offers courses for beginners and for qualified therapists. Also on offer are introductory days and workshops, if you attend an introductory day and or workshop then decide to sign up for the full course we offer a discount. For more information please see our list of courses.
This is a Continued Professional Development course or an Advanced Course for qualified therapists who have already studied a Holistic qualification. Each CPD course has a pre requisite and these are listed under the individual course information. If you are unsure if you have the correct qualification we will be happy to assist you. Most governing bodies require their members to continue studying, these requirements vary. Our CPD courses help you to fulfil this requirement and add to your existing skills to enable you to further your career. See a list of our CPD courses.
PTTA can travel! Course can be offered anywhere nationally or internationally. Quotes and proposals can be given for training at the venue of your choice, just email your requirements or call to discuss, PTTA are flexible and able to provide training for your needs. PTTA offer in house training to salons, holistic centres and spas.
PTTA do offer a 121 training programme for all our courses, contact us with your requirements and we will be happy to provide you with a quote.
PTTA knows that sometimes things go wrong and you may be unable to attend a course. If notification is given within four weeks of the course date PTTA will offer you a place on the next available course for no extra cost or refund you the full amount of the course minus a £10 administration fee.

If notification of cancellation is within 4 weeks of the course date then PTTA reserves the right to retain the full amount. However if PTTA is able to fill your place then you will be refunded the full amount minus a £10 administration fee.

PTTA do not like to cancel courses but in the unlikely event that we have to cancel a course you will be offered a place on the next available course or your payments will be returned in full.

PTTA wants to assist student access to every course we run so it may be possible to pay in instalments, please call us to discuss an individual learning schedule.

PTTA believes that by keeping course sizes small you get the individual attention you deserve to allow time for questions and demonstrations. For qualification course intake is up to 8 students and for CPD courses the intake is a maximum of 6 students. Workshops vary. We can provide training for up to 30 students for private training courses. PTTA will still run a CPD course with a minimum of two students.
Once you have booked a course with us we will send you full details on the venue including travel information and facilities at the venue. A receipt for the payment of the course will be sent out for your records or given on the day of the course. PTTA can answer any further questions about the course that you may have, just call or email.
Our relationship with our students doesn’t end after they finish the courses, PTTA offers a consultancy service to all our students. If something comes up in relation to the course you have studied then email your tutor and they will endeavour to assist you or refer you to the relevant help or information needed to answer your query.
